*SELF CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (ATTORNEYS ONLY) - September 11, 2009
The Members of the Authority have approved the implementation of the Self Certification Program. This program allows attorneys filing retail applications on behalf of applicants to certify that statements and documents provided in an application are true and accurate and that the application meets all statutory requirements. The program will allow for a more timely review of applications as the agency will rely on the information certified by the Attorney, eliminating the need to review each document submitted.
The SELF CERTIFICATION FORM AND INSTRUCTIONS are available at each zone office or may be downloaded or may be downloaded from the NYS Liquor Authority website at (www.abc.state.ny.us) under Retail Forms.

*This new Self Certification Program will significantly reduce the application time and enable liquor license applicants to get their licenses within weeks instead of months. This new application procedure will only be available to attorneys.
